The first Wild Bills Fight Night of 2013 was yet another great night of fights with only 1 out the 12 bouts making it to a decision, and many of them ending in the first round from submissions or knockouts. Also new for me in 2013 is trying out new shooting techniques and edit styles, with the goal of achieving a more “old film” look. The following photos are my favorites from the night.
Another Wild Bill’s Fight Night is in the books, and it featured the usual collection of well contested bouts. Wild Bills Fight Night 30 featured a classic battle that introduced me to a new participant in the fight story. Little did I know how important a true adversary really is to the night.
I had the opportunity to shoot a training seminar held by UFC Veteran Brandon Vera at KnuckleUp Fitness in Atlanta. In the 3 hour session, Brandon showed participants some of the techniques he uses when competing including a couple of grappling moves that really impressed the group.
