The first Wild Bills Fight Night of 2013 was yet another great night of fights with only 1 out the 12 bouts making it to a decision, and many of them ending in the first round from submissions or knockouts. Also new for me in 2013 is trying out new shooting techniques and edit styles, with the goal of achieving a more “old film” look. The following photos are my favorites from the night.
Featuring a stacked card with 5 great Muay Thai Battles, Bangkok Fight Night 10 did not disappoint fans. Pro fighter Matt Callahan makes his return to the ring after a 2 year hiatus, and delivers the 1st round Knockout. In the main event Warren Thompson goes the distance with Kevin Brooks and ultimately gets the unanimous decision.
Three of the top Muay Thai fighters in the history of the sport held a seminar in Atlanta on May 14th, 2011. In the world of Mixed Martial Arts, I prefer to shoot Muay Thai the most. It lends itself well to the storytelling angle, and the opportunity to shoot it was one I was not going to pass up.
